God’s promise to Joshua as he faced an unknown future is still God’s promise to us: “Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

God has done wonderful things through New Life Christian Church.  Faith has been nurtured and mission has been accomplished throughout the life of New Life.  But the reality may be that God is telling us, just as he told the Israelites: “Don’t look back at the way things were, but look forward to see what I will do”.

God has provided a wonderful way for us, the body called New Life, to continue in His  purpose to reach the lost and hurting people of Douglas County.  Over the last several months New Life has been developing a strong relationship with One Community Church.  One Community is very much like New Life.  One Community is on mission to reach the unreachable and perhaps the unlovable of Douglas County and beyond.  One Community loves the people of New Life and wants for the two bodies to be one-together!

Beginning on Sunday, March 11, 2012, New Life Christian Church will become part of the body known as One Community Church.  The One Community Sunday morning worship services will continue to meet at 10am at the Regal Cinema Theater in Arbor Place Mall, Douglasville.  Please join us as we embark on this journey with One Community.
